Dubai Express was formed in 1975, converted to a Limited Liability Company 1996 and became a joint venture of The Emirates Group & The Kanoo Group in 2000 to operate under the brand name of dnata logistics. Now dnata has purchased the remaining 50% stake in Dubai Express LLC, dnata logistics. As a result of the transaction, dnata is now the sole owner of Dubai Express LLC, dnata logistics from Feb 2019. dnata news link

Its operation in Dubai caters for all modes of international and domestic transportation through dedicated facilities at Al Ramoul, Dubai Airport Cargo Village, major sea ports and at Jebel Ali Free Zone. The Al Ramoul operation in Dubai includes a private bonded warehouse which features a state-of-the-art logistics facility with the latest software systems and modern storage and handling equipment. And dnata logistics can also design and implement turnkey warehousing and distribution processes based on time/cost relationships and apply just-in-time delivery techniques.
